Character descriptions
A young man in shabby coverall stands on her doorstep. His hair is all over the place and in too many colors. He pulls out his earphones and smiles at her, and oboy, he does know how to smile. A genuine, wide smile fills his face.

Can you see the character before you after reading this? Please comment your thoughts and ideas about this description

This one's interesting. At first I feel he's a "fake" - the messy hair, the colors, the earphones all say young, and the phrase "he does know how to smile" suggests practice.

But then, you say a genuine smile fills his face, and my attitude changes. He becomes more acceptable.

ADD: the verification word made me laugh. It's "rappiness" - it reminds me of the young man, perhaps a happy rapper? ;)

Thank you very much for your feedback. It was very interesting. This will become the description of the "love interest" in my script "To Be". Maybe I'll publish the scene later to put it in context.

I definetly don't want to give an impression that he is a fake when it comes to his smile, so I think I need to refrase that.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you are refering to in your "add" at the bottom. Could you please explain?
