I can’t remember any book about what I as a writer need to put in text from an actor’s point of view.
The Writing Drama-book I’m reading I miss this part as well. I thought I had found something about it under “the actor’s role”, but everything the writer had to say about this subject was that numerous writers and directors had started out as actors.
I have read so much about how to write to attract potential buyers, but in the end there will be actors reading the script and create their character from what I have written.
What do actors need to know? What makes them feel comfortable?

I rewrite for actors but I don't write for actors.
My first draft is trying to get the concept into a form that can be a movie.
My second draft is to cut down the over written first draft.
Then as a director/producer I cast the movie and have the actors read the script.
I am now using public reading so I not only hear the actors read the script but hear an audience react to the script.
I write the third draft from the
actors and audience feedback.
The forth draft is written during production. An actor has trouble with a line or the location changes.
Sometimes changes happen because a physical gag doesn't work.
That's my process. My actors are part of that process and I will and do rewrite for them.
